Questions schools ask us
How does the free trial work?
Register your school and you're in immediately — every Premium feature is unlocked for 30 days. No card details, no waiting for approval. When the trial ends you pick a plan to continue; your data stays safe either way.
Can we move our existing records into Schoolday?
Yes. Students can be uploaded in bulk from a spreadsheet, and our team helps schools migrate old records — including from paper registers or an older system — during onboarding, free of charge.
How do parents check results?
Each school gets an online result checker. Parents enter the school code and their child's admission number — and a scratch-card PIN if your school chooses to require one. There's also a mobile app for announcements, results and fees.
How does fee collection work?
You connect your school's own Paystack or Remita account, so money goes directly to your school — Schoolday never holds your fees. Payments reconcile automatically against student fee records.
Is our school's data safe?
Each school runs in its own isolated database — your records are never mixed with another school's. Access is controlled by roles you define, and every sensitive action is captured in an audit log.
Do we need special equipment or training?
No. Schoolday runs in the browser and on regular Android/iOS phones. Most schools are up and running the same day, and setup help is free during your trial.
What happens when the trial ends?
You choose a plan (Basic, Premium or Enterprise) and pay online. If you need more time to decide, your data is preserved — you can subscribe later and pick up exactly where you left off.
